1.1. This Privacy Policy of personal information applies to all information that Mareqs (hereinafter – “Mareqs” or the “Site” - mareqs.ru and mareqs.com websites and all related services) can get about the User*, and/or the Customer**.

1.2. The use of the Site indicates that the User and/or the Customer expressly consents with this policy and the conditions of personal data processing; if the User and/or the Customer disagrees with these conditions he shall refrain from using the Website.

Mareqs is focused on a wide range of companies and individuals involved in search (*Users), as well as on companies and individuals interested in the dissemination of information (**Customers) about the equipment, materials and services for construction, maintenance, repair and modernization of various types of ships, floating structures and drilling platforms.

The data obtained from the Customer is used to analyze the proposals and needs in the field of shipbuilding, to perform geographical location of Users and Customers and ultimately it is aimed to improve the system and to promote the new search ways for goods and services moving in the market. Through these data we can show more relevant search results. You place the information on our Website, we in turn are engaged in site advertising, thereby promoting your equipment, materials and services in the global market. At the same time, we want you to have a clear idea of how your data is used and how you can ensure its privacy.

2. What data we collect

2.2.1. Information from Customers: To become a member of our project and to get access to the services provided you should be registered. When registering, we ask for the following information: username, email address, language of your content and your chosen tariff. Data that the Customer adds while using Mareqs: information on the companies equipment, tenders, correspondence with the administration.

2.2.2. Information from Users: Data on what information the users are looking for by analyzing their search queries. Location data. Data that are automatically transferred to Mareqs through its being used by user’s device software, including IP-address, information from the cookie, information about the user's browser (or other program with which access to the Services is provided), access time, address of the requested page, the operating system and other technical data.

3. How we use the collected data

3.1. Thanks to the data obtained, we can maintain, protect and develop the existing services and create new ones, as well as ensure the safety of Mareqs and our Customers/Users. Among other things, these data is needed for better personalization of the content, and also for relevance increase of search results and advertisement display.

3.2. When you contact the Site administrator, your messages can be stored, so that we can solve the problem faster. We can also notify (by e-mail) the Customers/Users about upcoming changes or improvements in operation of site services.

4.1. The Customer needs to understand what information to post on the Site in order not to violate the confidentiality.

4.2. The Customer can view and manage certain types of information in his profile on Mareqs.

4.3. The Customer/User can view and select the category of Mareqs catalogs.

4.4. In addition, the Customer/User can completely disable the browser to receive all cookie files, including from Mareqs or choose the option of last files reporting. We want to remind that with no cookie files many services of the Site operate not perfectly all right. For example, in this case, we cannot save the interface language selected by the User/Customer.

5. Information available to third parties

5.1. We do not disclose confidential information of Customers/Users to companies, organizations and individuals not associated with the Website, except as follows:

5.1.1. The Customer/User has given his consent. We can provide information about you to companies, organizations or individuals not associated with Mareqs, if your consent is obtained. For disclosure of special categories of personal data we request for your consent.

5.1.2. At the request of the legislation. We provide your data to companies, organizations or individuals not associated with Mareqs, in the event when we believe in good faith that it is reasonably necessary to get, use, retain or disclose such information in order: to perform or comply with the existing laws, bye-law, the judgment or forcibly executed query of state institution; to detect, prevent or otherwise obstruct the fraud, and also to eliminate technical problems or security problems; to protect the rights, property or safety of Mareqs, our Customers/Users or society in general as required and permitted by law. to provide generalized anonymous data to all Customers/Users and our partners, such as publishers, advertisers or connected sites. They can be used, for example in order to illustrate the trend in the use of our services.

5.1.3. If Mareqs company will be involved in mergers, acquisitions or sales of assets, we will continue to ensure the safety of all the confidential data. We will also notify all interested Customers that their data will be disclosed or regulated by other privacy policy.

6. Protection of information

6.1. We do everything possible to protect Mareqs and our Customers/Users from unauthorized attempts to access, modification, disclosure or destruction of data that we store.

6.2. We are improving the methods of data collection, storage and processing, including physical security measures in order to prevent unauthorized access to our systems.

6.3. Our employees, contractors and agents are restricted in access to confidential data, and we also impose on them the strict contractual obligations, for breach of which serious responsibility and penalties are provided.

7.1. Our Privacy Policy applies to all services provided by Mareqs company, including services available on other websites (eg advertising), it doesn’t apply to services having their own policies that are not based hereon.

Privacy Policy does not apply to services provided by other companies or individuals (including products or websites that can be displayed in search results), websites that use Mareqs services, as well as other resources referred to our links. Also privacy policy does not cover the rules of information processing by companies and organizations that advertise our services, and display relevant ads using such technologies as cookie files, pixel tags, and so on.

8. Compulsory execution

8.1. We check observation of Privacy Policy regularly. When a complaint is received, we contact the sender and consider a problem. If a problem cannot be solved, we apply for help to the relevant local government institutions, including authorities with competence in the field of personal data protection.
